Bought this to hold my topo maps that I printed off my computer using Topo software. This case is perfectly sized for an 8.5"x11" paper folded in half.
No problems with leakage. I kept mine in the outer mesh pocket of my pack for easy access, and during rain no moisture got to my map.
The plastic is easy to see through and causes no blurring of the fine topo lines.
Very durable little case, I can see this lasting for a long time, very lightweight as well.
