    Comments about THOMSON Elite Seatpost - 31.6mm:

    Have read repeatedly that Thompson was one of the go-to products, and when the clamp on my stock post went, I decided to take the chance. For the first time in years, I have a truly level saddle! The double bolt system allows for spot-on levelling of your seat without undue complexness. Decent weight for the price, and seems to be strong. For a metal post, it is also surprisingly comfortable-riding, which I wasn't expecting, as it was bought to replace a (heavier) carbon post.

    Would I buy one again? Not sure I would buy anything else. Have had decent stock posts, Campy, etc, and this one is so much easier to use. For my road frame, I should have grabbed the setback model, as my seat is pushed all the way back, but it is close, and I am not feeling any leg-rub on the clamp. Might consider the extra money next time, and get the lighter Masterpiece.
