Comments about Marmot CWM EQ -40 Sleeping Bag:

I havent had the bag very long and have only used it in the cold weather.
      It is very warm.
I'm 5'8" tall and the bag is a bit long for me.
The zipper snags going up and down.
Marmot should have continued the zipper another three to four inches at the top to make a full enclosure, (it doesnt zip all the way up).
Other than that it is a great product.

Comments about Marmot CWM EQ -40 Sleeping Bag:

I have camped out using this bag at treeline in Colorado with no bivy and in a tent under frosty, damp conditions. I can't imagine a better bag out there. It gives me the confidence to head out the door regardless of what the temperature holds in store.

Comments about Marmot CWM EQ -40 Sleeping Bag:

Used this bag twice on Denali and was quite toasty in -30 conditions. My only suggestion is to get the long bag. I'm 6 foot and by the time I had my water bottles and inner boots in the bag there wasn't much room left.

Comments about Marmot CWM EQ -40 Sleeping Bag:

An earlier reviewer said that this bag was "bulky." What the heck do you expect for a -40 degree rated bag???? Come on!! Should it fit and weigh as a plastic garbage bag!! Of course NOT!! It's "bulk" and weight are outstanding for a -40 degree bag!!! :)

Comments about Marmot CWM EQ -40 Sleeping Bag:

This bag is super comfy and warm but it is very large and bulky. It is extremely large and the stuff sack that comes with it is inadequate if you want to put anything other than this sleeping bag in your backpack. If you get an extra stuff sac it does help make the bag smaller, but I found I needed help to get the sleeping bag into the stuff sac. It also has a very weird smell that doesn't seem to go away even with airing the bag out a bit. This bag is probably best for car camping in cold weather conditions becuase you will not have to worry about the size of the bag.
