      The bottle is large enough to do two pairs of boots. If you hold the bottle far enough away from the it won't spot. I didn't get spotting on the SUEDE boots I waterproofed.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I was excited to find this waterproof spray at REI that is marketed for all types of footwear. However, it left white, splotchy residue on my brand new leather shoes and boots. So far, nothing I've tried has removed the residue since it's waterproof. I do not recommend this product for any type of leather. REI thankfully provided me with a refund for this product, but I'm still out a couple hundred for the new shoes :(

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
