The design is basic and having reactive airway disorder it does not provide adequate warming of the air. It is a rubber mask with ventilation slits and nothing more.

Since I bought the Cold Avenger, I have been using it 8 hours a day at work (outdoors, in Iowa). It performs exactly as promised, keeping my face warm and dry. It's SO much more comfortable than a scarf that gets wet or a ski mask or duck-hunting mask. The only problem is that condensation constantly drips from the drainholes in the bottom of the mask. This really disturbed my co-workers, since I was dripping on paperwork and shared equipment. Also, the condensation sprays out every time I laugh and forms icicles on the front of my coat. I would definitely reccommend the Cold Avenger, but it's better to use it away from other (squeamish) people.
