    This bag is a great deal! It is a great looking custom design for way less than the custom price on timbuk2's website! The bag is BIG and can hold LOTS in its large main compartment, and it also has some well designed smaller pockets as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this bag was shipped with the shoulder pad and cross strap that apparently many of the custom bags aren't shipped with.
    In response to the previous review, this custom bag actually DOES in fact have the waterproof lining that ALL timbuk2 classic messenger bags have, as I just got mine today and saw it with my own eyes. However something to understand about these bags that is accurate is that they tend to crumple up and don't keep their shape if you don't put anything in them. I would suggest looking at the timbuk2 commute, which has more internal support, if this is a potential issue for you. However I personally don't really mind this.

    I'm yet to really get outside with it yet and test it out, but first impression is very positive!

    Minus one star because I would like it a little more if it held its shape, and because there are two tiny gaps on top of the bag on the sides that aren't quite covered by the flap, I worry about rain getting in during a heavy rain, though other reviews claim that this isn't an issue.

    This bag doesn't have the waterproof liner of the Timbuk2 classic messengers, so it doesn't hold its shape at all. Unless you plan on having this bag packed fully all the time, go for another bag.

      I use this bag to get to carry all of my books to classes and meetings. I love that it looks more professional than a backpack and is great for when I ride my bike to meetings.
