Comments about BDI Bike Tights - Men's - Special Buy:
These tights are thin and inadequately padded. They are not suitable for cold weather (the material is FAR thinner than my regular brand-name bike shorts), or for long rides (weak padding).

Comments about BDI Bike Tights - Men's - Special Buy:
I was looking for some cool weather wear. These tights aren't thermal or technical fabric, but they are warm enough for all but the coldest months in Arkansas...

Comments about BDI Bike Tights - Men's - Special Buy:
I found the size to be just a bit large, but very usable. While they are not the heaviest, they are comfortable and sure beat shorts in cool weather. Glad I bought them. While I only have a few hundred miles on them, they are holding up well.

Comments about BDI Bike Tights - Men's - Special Buy:
I just bought these tights and took them on a 20 mile ride on a cold day (for Portland, at least: about 40 degrees). While it is true that the padding isn't a lot, it is fine. These are not insulated or lined, but just good stretch nylon of some type that wicks and does the job. I assume that tights costing two to four times as much have benefits these tights don't have, but honestly, for the price, I am very pleased -- this is exactly what I was looking for and I didn't have to pay a lot for them.

I also do not agree with the first review. These tights are not the top of the line $140.00 gel tights. They are .[$]chamois tights. Well worth the money for cool weather rides. Fit and feel are good. If you want a decent tight for .[$], look no further. If you need more padding than this consider changing your saddle.

Comments about BDI Bike Tights - Men's - Special Buy:
I needed some bike tights for my autumn commute (16 mile round trip) in the midwest. It's october and morning temps are in the mid 30s. Other reviews describe these as pretty flimsy pants, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I'm pretty slim, 32/32 and I sized up to a large because I wanted a slightly looser fit. They fit perfect, really. There are absolutely better pants out there, but if you can't drop $100 these will get you through the season. Two seasons? I don't know. While the quality is better than expected, long term durability remains to be seen. My bottom line: a simple pair of bike tights at a killer price.

Comments about BDI Bike Tights - Men's - Special Buy:
Unlike the first reviewer, I found the padding adequate. I took them on a VERY steep climb on a 33-mile ride on a cool morning, and they were comfortable for the whole ride. They didn't snag or catch on my saddle. For [$] (the sale price), these are very fine, and I'm ordering another pair.

Comments about BDI Bike Tights - Men's - Special Buy:
You can't feel any padding when sitting on the bike seat.
And the pant material is very stretchy and thin. If you try to sit on your bike seat, you will get a snagged.
This screams of poor quality.
Returned.
