Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Jacket - Men's:

It's too light and packable to leave behind and works great to keep me warm in a really wide variety of temperatures. I feel chilly in most buildings and the nano puff is perfectly comfortable to keep on there; I haven't found temperatures low enough in my area to require additional layers, though I plan to put that to the test this season.

I don't really understand how something seemingly so thin can keep you so warm; nor how it can not overheat you when it's not so cold.

Never leave home without this one - never. Packs up tiny and can be used in a larger variety of circumstances than anything I own. Love it as a layer to double/triple warmth of outer layer, but due to the slippery finish - has NO restrictions on your movement. Like it alone when the unexpected front move in. Small enough to even store in a pant side bellow pocket.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Jacket - Men's:

I bought this jacket about 6 months ago as a present to myself. I looked at a lot of down nano's but read the reviews and thought I'd give this a try. I'm not one who writes reviews so the fact I did means I REALLY love this jacket!
I have worn this almost everyday for the entire winter. We keep our house pretty cool so I wear it daily indoors. It's just slightly clammy (indoors if it gets a little warm) as it doesn't breath much but I'm really sensitive to this ( I can't wear thick fleece cause it's too clammy for me). But I can live with this clammines and I think it's just fine.
I thought it wasn't going to be warm enough outdoors in the cold but I was wrong. It's incredibly warm for how thin it is. I've had it in the snow (with a thin smartwool and t shirt underneath) and been fine. It's also very windproof - on windy days or even on short bike rides around town, it's great. It's super light and packable. the best part is it's washable and it dries really fast. Also, it's quite rainproof for light exposure, and even if it gets wet, it will dry quickly indoors. You might think it seems expensive, but it is totally worth the price. It has held up great and for the last 7 months, I've worn it 5 days out of 7 on average.

You might miss the fact there are no pockets, but I think it's worth it to have it be lighter.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Jacket - Men's:

I got this jacket to use hiking the Appalachian trail spring and fall. It is a great multi purpose item and works in my system well. I use it as my pillow at night since it packs into it's own chest pocket then I wrap my Buff around it and Wa-la pillow time! The buff is nicer to lay your face on and protects from drool stains. In jacket form it is my main insulation layer. I use a Patagonia Cap 3 base, Patagonia Sun Hoody, this jacket, and a Marmot Super Mica as my shell over it all. The no hand pockets is a bummer but if I put my Patagonia Sun Hoody over this jacket I instead of under and then I can put my hand in the Roo pocket to get past that probelm. Also I love the little "Cover Flap" on the top of the zipper! It protects your chin from a hard and cold zipper. It's the little stuff!! Multi purpose(pillow), lightweight at 9.3oz(size S), maintains warmth when wet and drys quickly. Price of Patagonia gear is steep but I love it!

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Jacket - Men's:

Been eyeing these for a while, but couldn't justify it with the mild winter we have been having. Then I found the mango version on clearance, and jumped on it. This pullover is the softest puffy I have ever tried on. Medium is large enough to fit over a Cap 1, R1 pullover, and R2 vest layering combo comfortably. I am 5'-8" and 165 lbs. Also small enough to fit under my MH Epic Jacket if needed during rain/snow. Can't wait to try this out on an upcoming late winter fly fishing trip. Recently wore the R1, R2, Nano combo while 20 deg and 25 mph winds and very low activity, and stayed toasty. Windproof and highly compressible. Excellent warmth to weight ratio.

Durability is only concern as the material is ultra light weight and thin. But Patagonia quality leads me to believe this will not be an issue.

Fantastic pullover, and I highly recommend it!

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Jacket - Men's:

I bought this thinking it to be a lightweight middle'ish layer added another 2 to help keep warm when it was cold or that I would pull it out if it got "a little chilly" late spring early fall. Wow was I wrong! I recently used it up in WI where the temps might have hit 32 during the day and dropped to 14 at night. It did a great job of keeping me warm with nothing else aside from the t-shirt I wore under it while hiking during the day. I even had to pull the zip down several times to vent some heat out.

It even kept me peachy warm until it dipped under 20 deg and all it took was another layer over the top and I was good to go.

I love it. Everyone else loves it. Everyone else wants one now even though they don't do the outdoors thing. Every time someone sees a picture of me wearing it, they comment how nice it looks. Every time I show up at a place(non outdoors) with it, I get compliments on it. Every time someone touches it, they say "Wow!" Girls will usually continue to rub, pet, and paw at it for a bit and go nuts over how soft and warm it feels.

At 5'6" with some broadness in my shoulders and chest the large fits perfect. Not tight, not loose, not too sort, not too long.... anywhere. Not sure if I lucked out or if Patagonia measured me in my sleep.

Super light and small means I will take it with me on all trips. No excuse not to.

It does feel or seem to be delicate, but a couple days of hiking with small day pack holding climbing gear and water did not seem to show any immediate signs of abrasion from the straps or any scuffing from scrambling up several boulders and a few rappels. I figured lets see what it's made of right off and not find out it wasn't up to it when I needed it the most.

At this point I don't care about the price tag on it, I am willing to buy a second one NOW as a backup or handout for some new to the field folks I drag out that don't know about laying and don't have the money or time to get stuff before a last minute trip kicks off.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Jacket - Men's:

I was looking for a lightweight jacket and this one seemed right. I like the fact that it compresses and does not take too much space in your pack. You have to layer correctly in order to reap the full warmth, obviously, in windy conditions. It works well by itself in temps around 50F, around 40 you will need additional layers (at least I do)

I got the extra small and it fits nicely, except it's tricky to pull over my head at times and the torso is a bit short. If I get a size larger then the sleeves will be too long and it will flap in the wind so it's a compromise.

Overall I would recommend it although I think is OVERPRICED like anything else Patagonia makes. I picked up mine on sale.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Jacket - Men's:

I purchased this jacket as a mid-layer for winter conditions in Colorado. This is an exceptionally-well designed piece and is likely to be part of my layering system for a long time. It is very lightweight, breathes well, and was warm enough while I was moving at temps between 15-20F (20-25mph wind) with just a couple of base layers underneath (Cap3 plus R1). The size and fit feels right for layering over a baselayer and shirt, and yet still isn't too bulky to fit under a shell.

My only caution is the jacket does not seem sturdy enough to handle much abrasion. The stitching that creates the brick pattern had started to come unraveled on the first jacket I purchased - glad I noticed before I cut the tags off.

I would absolutely recommend the Nanopuff.
