      Comments about Kabletek Flexweave Cable - 9/16" x 5':

      I wanted a cable lock for versatility and this one looks and feels more substantial than most of the other cable locks on the shelf. I paired this with a combination padlock and so far it works great.

      I'm sure this could still be cut but next to some of the skimpier cable locks, I'm hoping it adds an element of "visual toughness" that may make a casual thief move on to another target.

      One thing that was pleasantly surprising is that despite the increased thickness of the lock it was still easy to curl up and put away. The cable does not want to "snap" into a predetermined shape like some locks and the built in velcro strap keeps the lock wound up when not in use.

      The fact that this was made in America sealed the deal for me (that likely accounts for the higher price).

      If you are looking for a versatile, relatively secure cable lock, be sure to check this one out.
