Comments about Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag - 65 Liters:
I carried my sleeping gear (bag and sleeping pad) in this bag strapped to my motorcycle. It kept my gear dry in the wettest Southeast Alaska weather - sideways rain. It was especially nice to have the built in straps for easy attachment to my bike. We literally poured water from our boots the weather was so nasty and my gear in this bag stayed dry. No complaints about this product.

Comments about Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag - 65 Liters:
Went on a raft trip, got dumped in river bag leaked and got everything wet. The bag was still closed. Would not purchase, and I will return to REI.

Comments about Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag - 65 Liters:
After a few years of canoeing with gear in heavy yard bags, I picked up this dry bag. For a two day, one night trip we got sleeping bags, pads and a change of clothes for two in this bag. The water sloshing around the canoe bottom didn't get in, nor did the sand when we camped on a very windy dune for the night. Particularly like the oval shape -- made it much easier to handle and lug short distances. I was hesitant to make use of the stitched in compression (?) strap loops, they looked a little bit flimsy/weak. I'll update if I find otherwise after more use.

Comments about Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag - 65 Liters:
I purchased this bag for a 10 day trip canoe on the Allagash River in Maine. Our canoe tipped twice and took in water which was bailed out as quickly as possible. The bag was kept under the vestibule of the tent at night but was soaked with dew every day. It could have been the dew or the swamping of the canoe but the items in the bottom of the bag were very wet. I expected a dry bag to keep everything dry. Stick with SealLine if you are going on a very wet trip!
