I used to buy the women's REI midweight MTS shirts and then saw that the kids' were cheaper. I bought one but still preferred the V-neck of the women's design. Then, REI did away with MTS for adults and now only sells Polartec. I find Polartec to be very uncomfortable (stiff and itchy). Now, I stocked up on these MTS shirts in case they go away, too.

I wear these shirts several times a week in the winter time because they are so soft and warm. I love the MTS material, especially the ones they sold this past year. It seems to be thicker than previous years and also softer.

I'm a 5'3" adult and normally a size S in adult clothing. Oddly, size M of this shirt best fits me. The sleeves are about half an inch shorter than what I would like, but I always wear these shirts under another layer so it's not a problem.

Unfortunately, these shirts retain odors. They go in the wash frequently.

The best long underwear my son has found. He lives in these. He says they are as comfy as his PJs. They are great for hiking in the NW. Worn alone as a shirt or under heavier layers, wicks moisture away and drys super fast.

My daughter lives in these thermals during the winter months at school. Both the top and bottoms are non-binding and warm beneath clothing . She never overheats out on the playground at school. She wears these thermals her base layer for skiing and is comfortable all season. Great price. Great product.
