Comments about Pedro's Vise Whip Wrench:
The Pedro's Vice Whip replaces a chain whip for cassette removal. It is a 100% improvement on a chain whip because it grips any 11-23T Shimano/Campy/Sram cassette cog extemely securely (to the point you can move the wheel round by grasping the cassette with this tool). You never have to worry about the insecure grip of a chain whip on the cassette cog again. It works a lot like vice grips. You adjust the nob so that the width of the jaws fits around a cog on the cassette and "lock" it on. You can then proceed to remove the cassette lockring with whatever removal tool you use. The Vice Whip is pricey, but after you use it, you will never, ever want to use another chain whip again. It's a tool I never realized I needed until my mechanic showed it to me, and now one would not live without in my home shop.
