    As a CPR Instructor I am very experienced with this product. This product is one of the hardest barriers to use in practice and is often used incorrectly, even with direct instruction. I would not even recommend this product for practices.

    This product is not a Blood Born Pathogen barrier device. This product is a piece of plastic with a circle or square of gauze in the middle. It will not prevent contamination.

    If the victim has blood or vomit coming out of their mouth, this barrier will allow it to pass into your mouth.
