Comments about SealLine Black Canyon Boundary Dry Pack - 70 Liters:
I purchaced this bag to use for a trip to the Boundary Water Canoe Area later this year. I have several other SealLine products and have been happy with their performance. But I needed a big bag for the portages. While the 70L bag was probably big enough, fully loaded, it was too heavy to haul over lengthy portages without a more substantial hip belt. The belt included was only 1 inch webbing with no padding. While this might keep the bag from bouncing around, it leaves all the weight on the shoulders. SealLines larger bag had the same small waist belt. These bags would be good for other wet activities that don't require a lot of carrying (sailing, boating, etc.) I opted for a larger bag from another manufacturer, with a hip belt as good as my backpack.

Comments about SealLine Black Canyon Boundary Dry Pack - 70 Liters:
I drive up and down the coast in the rainstorms unfortunately. I keep my computer and sundry electronics in this bag because I know nothing will get wet. Yes, it is exposed the entire time to rain, icy rain, and wind.

Comments about SealLine Black Canyon Boundary Dry Pack - 70 Liters:
This is my 3rd one of these bags. I've been using these bags for 16 years and the original one is still going strong!! Packing it properly is key to waterproof-ness. I've taken these to Canada fishing, the BWCA, on whitewater and multi-day river trips and would recommend this bag to anyone. Way better than Duluth Packs unless you want to drop $250+. Not recommended for backpacking but plenty comfortable for even the longest portages. I've had up to 50 lbs packed in this bag with no trouble. Definitely a solid investment!
