Comments about Rite in the Rain Outdoor Journal - Small:

Rite in the Rain paper is great stuff! I use it for field notes (photography, coordinates, lists, etc) and I would hate to go back to regular notebooks. I've only used the OD green version of this book (with green paper), but the high-vis cover looks more practical for recreation or work.

Aside from the use that the name implies, it is extremely useful for humid conditions that make normal paper unusable. The tough paper also doubles as a material for improvised funnels and the like.

Be sure to test your writing instrument before heading for the boonies- some pens don't like this paper. An all-weather pen and a pencil will keep you scribbling no matter the conditions though.

This company also makes printer-sized paper for maps, checklists, worksheets, or whatever you feel like printing.
