Very sturdy cot and comfortable. It is easy to set up and take down. It is heavy but its a cot so that is expected. It is a nice height so its easy to get up off of. My favorite part is the attached pocket. No more stepping on my glasses in the morning.

I was skeptical of using a cot for our tent camping trip this year, but we were pleasantly surprised by this product. The cot was easy to set up, and very comfortable to sleep on. My husband is 6'2" and 220 pounds and he said this was the most comfortable night's sleep he's had while camping.
ALPS products are very well made and this cot seems quite sturdy so we are expecting it to last for many years. A very worthwhile investment!

I hate sleeping in tents, so being on the ground was second nature for me. But...I cannot bear to leave this cot behind on a drive-in camping trip! It's so comfortable, you'll sleep like a baby! Just don't forget to use a sleeping pad/inflatable mattress under your sleeping bag; if you don't, the night air that will circulate under you will chill you uncomfortably.

After years on an air mattress, my fused spine just can't take it anymore. I decided to try these XL cots with the ALPS Mountaineering Lightweight Sleeping Pad - X Large and couldn't be happier. I am 6'1" and have a very bad back and slept very comfortably with no pain in my hips or back. I am a side sleeper and did not hit the rails at all. My husband is 6'5" and 230lbs and said this is the best fit for a camping bed solution he has slept on.
The cot folds very easily, has a compact carrying bag, and is not very heavy.
We are family campers with a 3 and 4 year old and mostly camp at established campgrounds or in the backyard. I think these cots and pads will give us years of comfortable camping nights.
