Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Lightweight Sleeping Pad - Long - Special Buy:
If you plan on doing a lot of car camping, this pad just may be the product for you. It's comfy, huge, and heavy. If you're looking to do some backpack camping, then stay away from this pad. It's heavy, and there is no way around that. It's big, and if you plan to tie it to the outside of your pack, you'll want to remember to pin on your "wide load" signs. The pad is pretty comfortable, but only if you don't have to carry it around on your back for 6 to 10 hours a day.
