    Updated with structural reinforcements and a new heat-treatment process to improve strength and durability, the Petzl Sarken Leverlock crampons are ideal for adventures in mixed terrain.

    • Microadjustable Leverlock heel bail clamps securely to mountaineering boots with a rear welt; plastic toe piece remains flexible even in extreme cold
    • Serrated T-shaped front points are optimized for penetration in hard ice and stable front pointing on mixed terrain
    • Second set of points are angled forward to reinforce purchase and give support when front pointing
    • Forth set of points provide stability while descending slopes facing downhill
    • Crampons adjust easily without tools, accommodating half sizes for an accurate, snug fit
    • Linking bars can be set for flexible or semi-rigid modes to adapt the crampons to flexible or rigid boots

      I use them on mexican volcanoes, with great slopes, where there is a mix of snow, ice and rock. They never move from my boots and feel like part of them.

        These are the best all around crampon I have ever used (I have owned about 8-10 pairs of different crampons over 15 years). They work on snow, mixed, and steep ice. They are super grippy, light yet durable. They are my go to crampon when I am not sure what conditions I am getting into.

        I have crampons that are better on specific terrain (snow or mixed ground), but these are the best all-arounders I have tried.
