The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

I got these and immediately put them through a 24 mile backpacking hike to Havasupai falls. After using mostly cheap flip flops from India or bear feet to do all my hiking and backpacking, traveling and adventure, these were a welcome and needed addition to my repetoir. But I keep trying to do trips like this in closed toed shoes and boots and my feet never fit, and these fit me fine and I am good at wearing flip flops. I recently attempted a overnight pilgrimage to a holy site near Santa Fe in Chimayo and was left trembling, with many blisters by my closed-toed shoes. It shall be flip flops as much as possible for me from now on!
I am a little concerned that the padding will wear out prematurely on these though. My athletic shoe expert friend who has worked at a shoe store for at least 8 years tells me I have an excellent posture, and I feel like I do run into shoes that wear out faster and slower. Flip flops, unfortunately do not have replaceable insoles, and I would rather shoes just lasted anyway. I gave this 4 stars because I am not sure yet how long these will last and how the insole, which is very comfortable so far, will hold up. I am aware that these are not built for backpacking...

Wore "musical notes" rubber slippers for years @ $2.50 a pair, 4 month lifespan. Cracked the wallet open to buy these and am satisfied with design, craftmanship, and cost. Yeah, a little expensive for "slippers", but other than first couple days of "odd stepping", due to arch and design, I now don't even notice them. Also, musical note style was getting hard to find, let alone in the size I need.

I moved to southern California about two years ago, and since I wear flip flops all the time, decided I needed to invest in a more comfortable flip flop. These are great. With all the cushion it does take a while to break them in, similar to shoes, but once you do they're great. I haven't worn them in water much yet, but they look like they will hold up well, and they still look bran new after an entire summer of use.

Best flip flops I've ever had. I wear flip flops all year, all the time, for all occasions. Maybe not always appropriate, but always comfortable. Olukai are the absolute best. Bought my first pair 7 years ago in Kona and still have them! I also have 4 other pair now, but who's counting! I can't say it enough, simply the best!

While I probably will never wear these slippers to the beach ever in my life, they are very comfortable and very stylish. They are soft and cushioning for your feet, you do not notice the toe strap. They may even be posture correcting as I've experienced some slight back discomfort associated with realignment treatments! That was a surprise.
I figure these slippers to last a long time, as I probably will never use them as everyday slippers... they're too good!

I just bought these and got them today, but man are they comfortable. I've been wearing some cheap Gap flip flops for the past two years, and these are well worth the money. I can tell they are very durable, and the sole is really padded and soft. They have nice arch support and look great. I'm sure I'll be wearing these guys all summer long. Buy 'em!

I wear sandals everyday, and 1 pair of these sandals lasts me more than a year, which is better than any sandal Ive ever had-at the end of the the year the bottom tread is still good-not worn off at all. I have nothing negative to say...worth the $$$
