Yup, it's a spoon. Only problem is it's not machine washable when you get home. Never machine wash it. Otherwise it's strong and light and, well, it's a spoon.

Very light weight. About 2 tsp capacity. Very durable. If done over the bowl should be a bit deeper to increase the capacity.

I got this spoon because it would store nicely in my bowl while hiking during the day. It's extremely light and small, but mine snapped where the handle meets the spoon. I used it for almost 2 months straight (no abuse) and the head of the spoon just snapped off one day. It was around -20 to -30 out, but i don't think that should have affected it too badly (it does claim to be 'aircraft alloy'). So it's great if it's the size and weight you want, but I found it doesn't hold up over time.
