The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Campware Utensil Set:
I bought this set about a year ago and couldn't be happier. I will say I haven't used the knife but the fork and spoon live in my bag and I use it every day for my lunch and have taken on several multi day backpacking trips. It's as light as titanium and safe on my non stick backpacking pans and cleans easier than metal utensils and doesn't retain the heat while cooking. I have found them very durable and up to the task of anything I have eaten for lunch in the past year. No they are not as rigid as titanium but I haven't noticed any loss of function while eating. They offer more benefits than Metal utensils and are much cheaper which is why I say they are the best value and most versatile overall.

Comments about REI Campware Utensil Set:
Great utensils for hardened aluminum nonstick pans, lighter then any other utensil. More temperature comfortable on your mouth then titanium or aluminum.

Comments about REI Campware Utensil Set:
I own some of these currently (although I admit I don't use them too often because I also own the Sea to Summit Alpha Utensil Set) and they are quality utensils - for the price. I also had them for many years back when I was a boyscout, in fact, I still have the same utensils from that time and they still work just fine. The one warning I will give though, is they can melt. They are durable, lightweight, easy to clean, and cheap. I definitely recommend these for the beginning or occasional adventurer.

Comments about REI Campware Utensil Set:
I've been using lexan-type utensils for backpacking and camping for years.
These particular ones are so bad I had to say something.
The sharp ends make the untensils uncomfortable to hold.
They are too flexible - bend easily with minimal force.
The hole on the end may be practical, but it is esthetically displeasing.
