Fits at the hips and is true to size. I think the people who say it is too big expect it to fit at the waist. I'm usually a 4 or 2 and the 4 is comfortably roomy.

The sizing is way off. I usually wear a 6 and a 2 fit me perfectly. I got it mainly for travel - the black color will dress up or down - but I've also worn it to work and its really comfortable. Might be a bit long if you like your skirts short.

very comfortable skirt and lightweight too. it has been awesome for summer. initially wrinkled after pulling out of the dryer, but wrinkles fall out easily with wearing or hanging. great pockets too! easy to move in.

This is a great skirt for traveling and camping and other active pursuits. The waist runs a little big relative to the hips, although I frequently have that problem.
The pockets are useful, and the length is perfect - hits right at the knees. The little bottom flare is really cute. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it!

I currently own 4 of these: 2 slate blue and 2 tan; I had to buy the second set in a smaller size due to weight loss!! Can't live without them. Am buying the 2 new colors (black and pewter). Would love an aubergine color. I have climbed Old Rag Mountain, VA as well as Giant and Hurricane Mountains, NY in this skirt. Have received compliments on the skirt on the trail as well as in cities.

I love this skirt. I bought it in black three years ago for traveling to Europe and still wear it today. It is still in perfect shape after much use. It has multiple pockets for security, yet not bulky and extremely lightweight. It doesn't cling in 100+ heat, and it even works at -50F (with tights of course). I'm between a size 6 and 8 and got the 8 so it allows for gelato. It's flattering with shirts tucked or untucked. I'm about 5'5", and at 23" it hits below the knee so I can wear it into European churches. I wear it everywhere--travel, church, teaching, work. It's as close to perfect as I have found.

I purchased two of these skirts for casual wear and travel. I sometimes find it hard to obtain casual comfy skirts for this niche because I don't like shorts. But these are perfect and the lenght just right, for me at least. the back zipper make the fit just perfect and comfy.What I like about these skirts is that while they are very casual and don't look at all out of out place travelling, sightseeing or just getting on with your day around town they don't look sloppy. Put a smarter pair of shoes on and a nice blouse and the skirt looks smarter too. The only down side is that I do find they need a slip underneath. But thats my only complaint so I'll take it.

I wore this all over China when the temps were very high. This skirt kept me cool, and it was AWESOME having a pocket that was perfect for my passport. 1 Pocket for passport, 1 for credit card, 1 for cash. Easy-Peasy. Cute little flounce along the hem keeps the feminine aura strong!!
