Comments about Liberty Mountain The Tick Key:
Small, lightweight, and durable. That's end of good things I have to say about this product.
Purchased this for my 50 lb. short-haired dog. I was unable to remove even one of the many ticks that my dog had brought home from our hike at Mammoth Cave National Park. Even with her very short fur I couldn't remove a single tick from her easy to reach belly, much less the areas where ticks love to hide.
I plan to modify this product by bending it to 90 degrees in order to imitate another tick removal device, but as it is the tick key has been completely useless for me.

Comments about Liberty Mountain The Tick Key:
I bought this a while back for use on my dog. I wasn't able to use it then as I had already cleared all the ticks off her, but I just rescued a new dog who happened to be covered in ticks.
This instantly popped every tick we could find off her, which was no easy feat as the new pup was excited and flinging her head around. In some cases just a small amount of pressure popped these ticks clean off, head and all.

Comments about Liberty Mountain The Tick Key:
I'm generally skeptical about products like this, but I took a chance and ordered it based on the user reviews alone. I'm really glad I did. This is the first tick-removal product that actually worked for me. This makes it quick, easy and painless to remove stubborn ticks from my dogs. Very effective product.

Comments about Liberty Mountain The Tick Key:
Ticks are an ever-present problem when hiking the woods of North Central Florida. I often spot ticks on my exposed arms or legs soon after they land or make an intial bite. In most cases I can just flick them away before they have taken hold. Recently I purchased some Tick Keys from REI to carry in my first-aid kit while hiking and to keep in the car. After arriving home from my last hike, I felt a tick embedded on my chest and asked my partner to remove it using the Tick Key according to the instructions. The Tick Key romoved the tick quickly, efficiently, and completely as advertised. I was quite happy with its functionality. Great little device. Good idea to buy several of them and keep them in handy locations such as backpacks, first-aid kits, and car glove boxes.

Comments about Liberty Mountain The Tick Key:
Ticks disgust me. Mosquitos and chiggers are bad, but I especially hate the idea of anything that wants to become a permanent fixture. The Tick Key works as advertised. The only time we experienced any issue was when we tried to remove the tick from the head instead of the tail. I don't think you can beat the reliability or peace of mind at this price or weight.

Comments about Liberty Mountain The Tick Key:
This is the greatest tick removal device since the beginning of time! Having grown up across the river from Lyme, CT I have plenty of experience with ticks and Lyme Disease. I have one dog adopted from Aussie Rescue who is Lyme positive as his first family didn't pay enough attention to the details (he is fine at this point and continues to be monitored) and I find this device absolutely painless for the dogs when a tick has become embedded. The entire tick is removed with absolute ease. Thank you to the person who invented this product!

A friend and I both have these. He had the opportunity to use his on our last trip. Amazing little device. The entire tick came right out easy as pie. Can't argue with that. It will always have a home in my kit.

My 2-year old boxer got a tick on his head and this product easily removed it, head and all. Very easy to use, takes less than 2 seconds to get the tick out. We keep one attached to his leash--great product!

Durable light-weight aluminum, easy to use, works perfectly even for my long haired dog! Conveniently attaches to car keys or pocketknife / multi-tool or even your dog's collar together with his tag(s) - no way to forget it at home that way :)

Comments about Liberty Mountain The Tick Key:
This thing is so simple, it got the entire deer tick off of my daughter. No worry about pinching my 3 year old with this thing like with tweezers. And is sooo simple on my dog too. Those big ticks he gets pull right off, head and all, and I don't have to touch them with my hands.
The other ones I have tried are plastic and were lost in my junk drawer whenever I needed it, but this one goes right on my key chain and is on my person whenever I am hiking and find ticks, no waiting 'til I get home to remove the little suckers. Much more convenient. Great product. thank you, tick key!!
