Comments about REI Base Camp 6 Footprint:
To the reviewer who stated that the footprint is 6" too small and the edges of the tent got dirty... *ahem* the footprint isn't meant to keep your tent from getting dirty. Footprints help protect the floor of your tent from abrasion. Rocks, pine cones, what have you. The footprint is slightly smaller by design, so that it doesn't catch rain and bring it under your tent.

Comments about REI Base Camp 6 Footprint:
We set this up in Southern OR a few weekends ago. Interestingly, when the Base Camp 6 Tent was set up over it, the footprint was a few inches smaller than the tent in each direction. Therefore, the edges of the tent got dirty. Not sure who came up with the dimensions of the product, but I would have made it about 6 inches bigger in width and length. Other than that, it seemed easy to use and well made.
