Rated5out of5bycarpediemkathfromcompatible with other brandsThis cover is perfect for those of us who backpack but also like to car camp. I wanted the cover for added comfort as well as extra protection because I didn't want to ruin my expensive NeoAir* pad on a car camping trip. I was worried the cover wouldn't be compatible with my NeoAir but it works perfectly. The nozzle even fits through a small hole in the cover's corner.
I never really felt like I was wobbling around on my bare NeoAir, but once I slept with this cover on I felt much more stable and supported. It truly feels like the memory foam mattress I have in my bedroom. And my sleeping bag stays put on the fabric, no sliding around. The cover offers peace of mind as it provides a protective barrier to the much more fragile air mattress inside.
The pad is easy to get in and out of the zippered cover, and you can even store your deflated pad inside this cover and keep it all rolled together. I like the way they incorporated a buckle right onto the cover, making the whole package easy to roll up and secure. No lost straps. The net bag seems a bit useless; it's difficult to stuff the cover back into the sack which offers no functional protection anyway. Not a deal breaker.
Now I don't need a separate mattress for backpacking and car camping, which helps enormously with storage space.
*Unfortunately the maker of my pad doesn't sell the cover separately; you have to buy the entire package, mattress and all, even if you already have a mattress. Thanks Big Agnes!

Rated5out of5byFlyin Brianfromworks like a dream :)I'm a recent convert to the Big Agnes way of doing things... I had a Thermorest prior to this and I couldn't side sleep on that thing. I am now using a Big Agnes Q-core insulated along with a sleeved bag and I decided to throw this memory foam on top just for the heck of it. It's comfy, no doubt. To save some weight, I ordered the 20" wide even though my pad is 25" wide, so I am unable to insert the pad into this foam cover like it is supposed to be done, but it works fine for me. It's not like I sleep on the edges of the pad anyhow, so I don't see any issues with using the smaller size. I haven't packed it on a long trip, so I don't know if it will be worth it's weight, but we will see.

Rated4out of5bySierra RangerfromA must for car camping! While preparing for a summer of living out of my truck (for field work), I found myself searching for something to beef up my sleeping pad without having to go out a buy a new, $200 deluxe pad. I came across this puppy and snatched it up. Don't let the 3/4 inch foam fool you-- it's just the right amount of padding to make your standard pad feel pretty cush. The bed of my truck has a hard plastic liner with grooves that run from front to back, so it's not the most comfortable surface to sleep on. This new foam pad along with my therm-a-rest makes for an excellent night's sleep. I can even sleep comfortably on my side! Something I could never do with a single pad on the ground. All that being said, I would not recommend using it for backpacking unless you have a Sherpa. Or try to use it on its own. It is definitely meant to be used with another pad.

Rated4out of5byBruce722fromGreat Comfort Product. If you want a comfortable night's sleep, combine this with a Big Agnes Q-Core and you're set. Some people on here have complained about a few things. Let me set those issues straight. Regarding size: This pad WILL fit any Big Agnes sleeping pad. The Q-Core SL is 3+ inches and it fits easily into it. Regarding surface: This is made to slide into a Big Agnes sleeping bag so the more slippery surface is intentional, or else it would be a pain to get into the bag. Coming from someone who has a Big Agnes bag, I wouldn't want it any other way.
The only reason this memory foam pad didn't get a perfect 5/5 from me is because of the net sack it comes with. It is a similar sack as the various sleeping pads from Big Agnes but because of the larger size, the only way to carry this is on the exterior of your rucksack. It is therefore exposed to the elements and being memory foam, you don't want it getting wet. Big Agnes should've included a water proof carrying sack so you could strap it to the outside of your rucksack without having to purchase a 3rd party sack.

Rated5out of5bynohohofromGreat Addition to an Excellent PadCombine this cushion pad with the Big Agnes long & wide pad and put it inside the wide and long Big Agnes "Deer Park"30 degree down sleeping bag....man, oh, man....you are in for a most comfortable sleep. Now, this is all not very cheap but if you're serious about doing things right, this combination is the best, bar none. No more sliding off your pad several times a night and the width and length gives one enough room to change position/stretch out. My wife and I got the right and left bags, we connect the two systems, and it is as good as it can get. Period.
