- 200g KEEN.WARM™ bamboo/polyester insulation blend ensures warmth and comfort in cold conditions during active use
- Removable thermal footbeds feature soft wool on top, cushy EVA in the middle and a heat shield to reduce temperature conductivity and keep feet warm
- Compression-molded EVA midsoles offer shock absorption and padding for all-day comfort

I've used these boots for just under one month. I read reviews saying they were great for winter sports including snowshoeing. I wore them for winter hiking with microspikes (a FANTASTIC purchase) without problems. Then, I wore them snowshoeing...no problem until I wore them with gaiters. THESE BOOTS SHOULD COME WITH A WARNING NOT TO WEAR THEM WITH GAITERS!! They abraided the top surface of the boots. I gave them only 3 stars for this reason. Otherwise, comfort, etc., they would have been 5 stars.

These boots are supposed to be rated to -25F , but they are better suited to 25 F. I got these for a snowshoeing trip and they did not keep my feet warm at all. It was not below 0 so I should have been more than fine. All they did was keep me from getting frostbite.
However walking around not standing in the snow they worked great. And they are light and not bulky so perfect for walking around in a snowy area.
I say they are not waterproof, because while they keep the snow out wonderfully. If you step in a puddle water gets right in.

All last winter I searched for, bought & returned warm boots to wear for winter hiking & snowshoeing here in the Rocky Mountains. I finally gave up as nothing felt right.
This year, I just walked in, tried on the boots and went out on the trail. They're warm and comfortable. I love Keen's roomy toe cage.

The boots are certainly comfortable and look nice but I was told that they would be warm to -25degrees. Not so.. Being in the cold for several hours my toes start to get cold. Would recommend them for everything but being out in cold weather for long periods of time.

I work at a ski resort and wear these every day. They work perfectly for me. I slip them on before I go to work, wear them all day walking (and even running) on packed snow and ice, then slip them off at the end of my day. I can do so much in them. I have hiked in the snow with them, shoveled snow, and worn for over 8 hours outside in the snow and not been cold. These are great boots I would recommend them to anyone going to the snow. They are durable, warm, comfortable, they are slip resistant and most of all are cute and stylish.

I bought these boots for a trip to Lake Tahoe with my family. They kept my feet warm and dry the whole time-- walking, sledding, climbing snowbanks. They were comfortable and light enough for driving and eating out as well. The two things I would change are: a less sticky zipper, and some way to cinch the top closed when walking through snow up above my knees! But I would definitely buy these again.
