Comments about Altus RM40 / Alex X101 Rear Wheel:
I bought this as a replacement for my Scott Aspect 60. I was breaking spokes on my old rim about every other month last year. I bought this last year and I have been pleased with the wheel.
I commute every day to work and back. I'm a Clydesdale and this wheel has held up well.

Comments about Altus RM40 / Alex X101 Rear Wheel:
I used this as a replacement on my Raleigh M-80 Mountain Bike, that I use primarily for city and occassional light trail use (hard pack gravel).
Rim is solid and true after several hundred miles. Braking surface works well. I'm glad this has a wear indicator as my last rim had a sidewall blowout.
It's not going to be your lightest wheel, but I didn't feel that heavy.
I'm going to replace my front wheel with it's equivalent too.
