        Bought this rear wheel to replace my 2 yr old original one. I figured that with the product description & claims, it owuld be a good, lasting product. After 2 bikerides of 20 miles each, 8 of the spokes popped loose & the quick-release axle was slightly bent. I am a heavy rider (6'3", 360 lbs) & only ride on paved roads & NEVER abuse or rough-ride, & the bike tech # REI said that this rim/wheel should be fine for my riding habits. Boy was he WRONG! I will be returning this wheel soon!

            bought this as an extra wheel for indoor training in the winters. wheel was actually well built and trued. but the inner wheel walls have a very sharp edge to it on machining. i've taped over the rim, placed the tire, placed the new tube, inserted the tire lips, pumped up the tire, and immediately got a flat. took it apart and i see multiple sites, long parallel snake bites where the wheel walls bit into the inner tube. thought it could have been the taping, redid the taping, reapplied another new tube, same results. studied the front wheel, same sharp edge on the inner wheel walls. ruined two good tubes. would think the tires would seat on these, but don't. will be returning these wheels.
