Comments about Z-Medica Quikclot Sport Silver - 25g:
Everyone should have QuikClot Sport, or Sport Silver in their pack first aid kit.
QuikClot Sport Silver has the added protection of Ionic Silver, which acts as an active antibacterial agent, greatly reducing the risk of infection.
This is an amazing product that does it's job better than anything else available.
It isn't for minor injuries. This is for uncontrollable bleeding. I have personally seen it used to treat a accidental gunshot wound, and it is VERY effective.
I would like to point out that another reviewer cautioned about possible burns. This is not an issue. This is a new "low heat" beanbag formula.
There is very little heat with ANY of their current products.

Comments about Z-Medica Quikclot Sport Silver - 25g:
This is a great product if you know when, where, and how to employ it. It is not as simple as applying a band-aid, nor is it some magic wound-sealant. If you carry this stuff, typically you would also have an irrigating syringe to clean out the wound first, since QuikClot must be applied directly to the source of bleeding (e.g. - directly onto a cut vein) Do yourself a favor and search QuikClot using any informative wiki website of your choice. Check out the limitations of this product there as well. This is certainly NOT meant to dissuade a potential customer from purchasing QuikClot, but to make sure that anyone carrying it has at least spent two minutes learning about its highly specialized and narrow list of uses (and dangers).
