The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer:
MAKE SURE you use the safety (backup clip). The main clip comes loose easily unless you are wearing a very sturdy belt.

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer:
The size makes it easy to carry along and forget about. My one change for it would be a start button, it works by its orientation, up or down or sideways so that it starts counting before I want it to.

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer:
Washed it in my washer and it still works! Took out the battery and dried it and the battery out in a bowl of rice overnight- and it still works! Good as new! In general, it seems to be accurate, and is easy to operate. Not so expensive, either, and I haven't lost it yet.

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer:
Very accurate, works just by trowing it in your pocket or even your boot. By comparing the pedometer to a map, the pedometer was very close to the acctual distance of my running route. The safety leash is a GREAT feature because my last one fell out of my pocket all the time. I don't use it all the time any more though because of it's size. It's just bulky enough that if you wear it in your pocket, it is very noticable.

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer:
The clip is so poor that the pedometer falls off at least once a day. Thank goodness it came with a safety strap. We did replace the clip on the safety strap with a metal clip. I'd still recommend it, but not if you buy it without the strap.

Service and delivery comments:
When I cut open the outer package, the battery went flying. I didn't realize this until after I had contacted Omron's customer service and complained the battery was missing. Customer service was quick and appropriate. I am impressed. The pedometer works as promised.

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer:
This is the first pedometer I have had that accurately counts my steps. I tend to fidget a lot, and every other pedometer I have tried has measured additional steps while I have been sitting or standing. This pedometer is terrific, because it only has measured my actual steps. It's also very sturdy. I have managed to drop it twice, each time onto a hard floor, and it is still working perfectly. I highly recommend this pedometer to anyone, but especially to individuals who have had difficulty with other pedometers counting steps inaccurately.

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer:
My husband and I now "go the extra mile" as we set our daily walking goals. It's easy and compact and a wonderful incentive. I'm toning up, and my husband has trimmed down. We love our pedometers and our friends are getting into walking for fitness too!
