The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
Easy to mount on handlebars and seat post. If you have a short seat post and a saddle bag mounted under your seat, you may have to be creative where you mount the rear safety light. Overall I enjoy the lights they are small (compact) light weight and bright for commuting.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I got this to replace my beloved Planet Bike Blinky 3H rear helmet light (that REI no longer stock - boooo).
What I like: the lights are small and light (boom-boom), and the rear does seem quite bright for such a small light.
What I don't like: the front light is way too weak to be used on its own, it should purely be used as a flashing safety light (if you use this for "24hr racing" as per the item description I'd love to come watch you - assuming I could see you). Mainly though, I dislike the velcro mounts. They supply 2 velcro straps of the same length that just happen to be that too short for where I'd like them on my helmet, so they're fastened low and off-center. The simple mount lacks any angle adjustment to compensate for the mounting point.
Passable 2nd/3rd safety "blinking" light for a reaonsable priced pair - but there's better dedicated front/rear lights.

These lights are so easy to attach to your bike. I use them to "be seen" a dusk, not really good for seeing where you're going. Would definately recommend to a friend.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
This is a great and inexpensive safety light for your bike; attach one to the handle bar and the other to the seat post and you are set. (It's not meant to be a head light so don't complain about it not lighting your path.) It is perfect and simple to use for what it is meant for…a set of safety lights. I bought a set for each bike we own.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I got these lights so I could be more visible at night. They do a great job of increasing my visibility for vehicular traffic. But the headlight does not illuminate more than say 5 feet in front of my bike--so don't get this for the purpose of seeing obstacles in front of your bike.
Very versatile mounting!
GREAT for others seeing you--not you seeing obstacles.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
On my commuter I have a full range of lights, both front and rear. I was looking for something for my road bike in case I get caught out late after a club ride or weather turns nasty on a training ride. These lights are perfect. They're barely noticeable until you need them. It's just enough light to be seen as the sun begins to set or the clouds roll in. They're far to small to use for commuting, but are a great back up to have in case of emergency. And, yes, they have a flashing mode. I couldn't find that listed on any other reviews.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I purchased these lights after being caught out on the road after sunset and finishing a ride in near darkness. Now I keep them in the saddle bag of my road bike for emergency use. They are light/small enough that they could be put in a jersey pocket. I have used them a number of times and am very satisfied with their performance. I would not recommend them as primary lights on a commuter bike.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I can't see many uses for these except for where you want small, inconspicuous lights. For me, that meant my helmet. Since all of my good lighting is attached to the bike, the Spoks seemed like a nice way to light my helmet without adding a lot of weight while still being visible.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I use the rear Red Spok mounted on the back of my helmet. Since the Spok is small, it's incognito to the design of my well-ventilated road helmet. The white one is mounted on my handlebar. Mainly the pair is used as a secondary set of lights. Can't be used to see anything - not bright enough! I use the Blaze and Superflash as my primary means of being detected and seeing. For [$], it's well worth the extra presence of being extra-spotted on the road at night!

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
These little lights are great as extras for visibility. The quick on and off mounting makes it a breeze to move them around - helmet, seat post, bag, wherever.
I actually use these for a jogging stroller for night outings (every night). The white light works well mounted to the front wheel supports and not only alerts drivers, but does a good job of lighting the ground directly ahead of the wheel. The red light is nice as a safety light out back, either on the stroller or attached to me!
A few notes:
+The strap hugger can be turned to mount the light perpendicular to the strap - nice feature that isn't well documented increasing mounting options.
+The shrouds above the lights do make them somewhat directional (not visible in all directions) so be sure to point them into traffic!
And once we are off the roads, my little one loves to take them off and wear them around the driveway in the dark.
