Comments about SportHill Traverse II Pants - Women's:
Bought these pants for snowshoeing and xcountry skiing - they are just what I was looking for - comfortable, not bulky or swishy sounding. When I first put them on I was worried that they would not be warm enough but with my base layer they are perfect - really glad I made this purchase

warm pants worn mainly for walking around a cold place (Granada, Spain).
great after alterations, which I did myself, otherwise, add $30 to the price for lack of correspondence to the usual female body.

Comments about SportHill Traverse II Pants - Women's:
I usually put on pair of stretch exercise pants before and after work to stretch, exercise, go for a walk, go to the grocery store, etc. I wanted a warmer pair for the winter so I would not have to wear long underwear when it is colder out (and in my house!). These have been perfect! They are very comfortable and flattering, can even put on a nice top and wear them out. I did wear long underwear with them for walking and hiking when it is colder than about 40 degrees, but don't need to if doing something aerobic. I just ordered another pair in brown.

Comments about SportHill Traverse II Pants - Women's:
I wore these every day for five days after they arrived! For the winter I wanted some warm, lightweight pants for daily dogwalking in the Pacific Northwest. These fit the bill perfectly! They are exceptionally comfortable and a perfect fit (10 petite). The design and fabric do not limit them to sports, but various casual wear situations apply too. I would not wear them to teach at the university (my job), but I have worn them to ballroom dancing lessons. Early on, I thought I felt some pills developing on the fabric, but they did not materialize. While they were a bit on the pricey side for me, they have been well worth the investment. I would buy more in additional colors.

Purchased them for cross country skiing. The first time I put them on, I wore them at home and out and about. The most comfortable pants I have ever purchased. Price was more than I had wanted to spend but after wearing them, it is worth it.

I live in Alaska and these are great!
Great for hiking and snowshoeing...have done both. Keeps the wind off and sheds the snow without being wet. Seem a bit short in the inseam, even when washed correct and line dry.
Will be buying another pair soon!
Have had two friends buy a pair after seeing mine!

Comments about SportHill Traverse II Pants - Women's:
These are the most comfortable cross-country ski pants I have ever owned. Wind resistant but breathable. Great for skiing or hiking. They would probably work well for winter biking. Love them!!! REI should sell more Sporthill products.

Comments about SportHill Traverse II Pants - Women's:
I was looking for a pair of XC pants that would not be too form-fitting but not too bulky either. These pants are a gem! On my most recent outing the temps were changing from warm to cold with wind being a major factor. I was comfortable the entire time (actually, a little too warm in the sunshine). I love these pants and get compliments on the style when I wear them.

These are great pants! In fact, I'm ordering a second pair. They keep me nice and warm on the trail and so far, have been good for walking in the rain.
Terrific fit, too.

Comments about SportHill Traverse II Pants - Women's:
I bought these pants for cross country skiing, winter hiking and walking my dog. I really was looking for something I could walk my dog in that wasn't bulky. I went hiking with my dog the temperature was 40 degrees with a slight wind. Elevation approximately 5000 ft. These did not keep me warm at all. I could have paid $10.00 for a pair of leggings at [...]and had the same amount of warmth. I was only able to hike for about 30 minutes and by the time I got back I was completely covered in dog hair.
