          I've purchased these ropes to trad climb and i love it. It's my first experience with twin/half ropes. For trad or multipitch routes, i would never go back to a single rope. Handles as well as a single rope, permits full 60m rappel and i'l never have a drag issue again because i can alternate clips. No more worry about finding the middle when you have two ropes of distinctive different colors.

            These specific half/twin ropes are extremely versatile due to their certification to both UIAA ratings. These have been my go-to ropes for alpine rock and ice for the last three years and they're holding up well. Will buy these again when they wear out.

              Certainly NOT scary and frail as the name implies, these are possibly the best half lines on the market. I am in the process of switching to the Verglas from a more popular half line for use on ice and trad. The Verglas handles remarkably well and is quite durable. The dry coating works great. This rope exhibits just the quality that I would expect from PMI. It is also rated as a twin AND half line. Overall, this is a fine rope and I am surprised I don't see these everywhere.
