Comments about Amphipod Rapid Access Pouch - Large:

I added this pouch to my Amphipod Full Tilt belt - the one with a full-size water bottle - to hold my fairly large and heavy cellphone. At first I found that it caused the water bottle to bounce but I quickly figured out that with the pouch shoved forward toward the buckle, essentially putting it opposite the water bottle on the belt, I can't even feel it. That position has the additional advantage that I can more clearly hear the nice Runkeeper lady on my phone as she reports my mileage. I suspect this position will work well if I eventually add a bluetooth heart monitor transmitter - those things are reportedly finicky if the phone isn't close to the transmitter.

I use the outer pocket of the pouch to carry my car keys. I wish that there was an internal loop for securing critical items like keys so only four stars, but overall this is a solid solution to my cellphone issue.

I was looking for a case to carry my Droid X in when biking. After a great deal of searching, I came across this and the review by Light. Took a chance and turns out the phone fits perfect. The case is light and fits well in the back pocket of my jerseys. The front pocket is great for stashing a couple of bills as well. If you're looking for a safe way to carry a large Smartphone - this works.

I use this as my everyday cellphone pouch. It's perfect for my droid X, and a spare battery if need be. There's a nice padded divider between the two pockets.

Will Only Work w/ a Belt

I bought this to replace my Amphipod that clamps onto my waistband. Beware: when the product description says "slides on to any waistband" that means this product cannot be worn without a belt. It does not contain that great Amphipod waistband clip that secures to your running shorts.
