The REI Member Dividend

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

I just bought my second pair. My original pair wore through after almost two years. At under $100, these are affordable and long-lasting. As with all climbing shoes, getting the right size can be challenging. LaSportiva seems to have good quality control so the new pair fit perfectly.
The Nago's have a nice edge.
This shoe is fairly flat. You might look at a more aggressive shoe if you're a more technical climber.

I use the product a couple of times a week bouldering. I have really enjoyed using the shoes and also getting to have my own shoes rather than relying on rentals. They are dependable and very sturdy.

This is a great climbing shoe. The sole softens after a few uses so it loses its ability to edge on the smallest seams but it is excellent for smearing.
Hard to beat the quality of this shoe for the price. I wear a 45eu in street shoe and went with a 44eu in the Nago, perfect, vacuum fit.

Great first shoe. Comfortable for long periods. Only downside is the red coloring stained my feet for the first two months I owned the shoes. Toes wore out in 6 months, after climbing 2-3 days a week.

These are my first shoes, previously I had always just borrowed or rented shoes. After a few climbs I can tell a big improvement in the quality.
Like all climbing shoes you are going to want to try them on first. Some shoes will just not fit your feet. These fit me well, most others I tried on were too flat across the arch, but these are like a glove.
I normally wear a 10.5 but I ended up with an 8.5 in these. They are very tight, but I can wear them for an hour or two without taking them off without any problems.

I have tried 10-12 different shoes in the last 5 years and i have never felt so uneasy about a shoe until these. I bought them 2 days ago and went climbing yesterday. The rubber is very sticky and i had the right size but the shoe gives way to easy and twists even on decent edges. It didn't edge well , and it buckled while smearing. I spent the whole day over gripping due to not being able to trust my feet. Not fun. I am returning these asap and going to another shoe.

I primarily climb in NW Washington (N. Cascades, Leavenworth) and I love these shoes. Wore them on 9 pitches climbing North Early Winter Spire last weekend and couldn't be happier with how they performed. Be sure to try them on to find your size because mine are about 2 full sizes smaller than street shoes and I don't wear climbing shoes super tight. I absolutely loved the performance of these shoes and my feet weren't killing me at the end of the day. If your worried about the fact that they color your feet red until your next shower, you probably need to find a new hobby anyway.
