My son is getting ready to go to Philmont Scout Ranch so we have been purchasing light weight equipment that provides warms and comfort. I am not happy at all with this sleeping bag. My son has only used it about three times and before he took it out again this weekend we washed it. THAT is where the problem happened. The bag now has two holes in it where the seam has come undone. I will be returning it today!

I loved this sleeping bag. I was never cold in it, and it was very comfortable. It worked great for about a year and a half over several trips, but then one of the seams just fell apart. I was very disappointed when this happened because I loved the bag.

I've had this bag for about a year and it has been on a number of trips with me, car camping as well as backpacking. It has always done its job flawlessly.
At the Grand Canyon temps dropped below 15F, but with midweight long underwear I stayed warm and toasty. And contrary to the previous review, my bag is holding up fine, no undone seams or similar issues.
So at the end of the day this is a fine piece of equipment -- even better if you can get it on sale.

I sleep quite warm and use this bag for primarily colder weather sleeping. It has kept me comfortable in temperatures below 20 degrees, with only one layer of clothing on. Fabric is soft and comfortable and the shoulders have plenty of space, even for my wider shoulders. The only con would be that it doesn't pack as small as I would like, but then again it is a synthetic bag.
