A solid, inexpensive addition to the Taj 3 tent, makes set up a breeze. The grommets are color coded to match the tent, just lay it out, lay the tent on top, pop in the poles and throw the fly over top. Really makes set up easier to have this.
Also, it works. We got caught in a mountain thunderstorm in this tent and the footprint kept all water from seeping through the tent floor.

I love the space and how easy it was to set up. I had to use the directions on the bag but the whole thing took about 5 minutes. That's awesome considering I haven't put up a tent in many many maaaany years. Everything was so easy to put away, as well. Didn't have to cry trying to fold the tent like origami and jumping up and down on it to make it small enough. Very easy. Very very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the open window with the rain fly on at the head of the tent because I'm a little paranoid about crazy killers out on the loose peering into tents for people to slaughter. Ok, not really, but still! It's coverable, though. :) The little netting at the top to store things away is really awesome. I also like the netting on the wall at the head of the tent! The doors at both sides are really awesome because I nobody has to step on anyone's appendages to get out. Best tent I have ever had.

REI website checkout process was smooth, [...] No complaints there. This footprint simply does not fit the Taj 3. Comparing the foot of the tent to the footprint it is plain to see that they are completely different polygons. I tried to attach the footprint anyways, and it contorted the entire tent. Looks like I have to return it and fabricate a custom footprint to match the strange shape of the Taj 3.
