Comments about Gregory 3D Shoulder Straps:
Bought these to fit to a roll-top cycling backpack we made ourselves. No way that we could've come close to this level of quality, fit and function for any price. They were easy to retro-fit to the pack we made. The design (contoured, adjustable sternum strap, dense padding, etc) is excellent and these work well for cycling, hiking, etc.

Comments about Gregory 3D Shoulder Straps:
Got this to replace well worn shoulder straps on an older green Gregory Palisade 80. The top straps fit great. The bottom buckles are 3/4"while the straps from the pack that go in the buckles are 1". Those 1" straps are riveted into the pack bottom. Should be able to figure out a fix.
Service and delivery comments:
Order arrived in store 2 days earlier than scheduled.
Associated in store were very helpful in processing the order and attaching the new harness assemble to the old pack and recommending a solution to make it fit the old 1" straps.

Comments about Gregory 3D Shoulder Straps:
I went with this strap design after been pointed at by a REI employee, they told me it was more comfortable for people like me, who don't fit the typical body type of a hiker or backpacker, lean or chubby, (I look like a weight lifter). And after carrying my Gregory Baltoro 70 up and down the California mountains, loaded with 45 pounds, I can say it is much more comfortable for my body type than other brands, such as Osprey, or even the REI shoulder straps.
