Comments about Guyot Designs MicroBites Utensils:
I keep these in my backpack so I don't have to put more plastic in the trash when I eat at places that don't offer real silverware. The knife part of the spatula works fine. I'm sure the spatula works okay as a spatula, although I haven't had occasion to use it as such. The Spork, however, does not function well as a fork or spoon. The spoon is too shallow for soup and the tines are too short and too flimsy to spear crunchy vegetables and lift chunks of meat. It's worth it to me to carry a set that has a separate fork and spoon, so I'll be replacing these.

Comments about Guyot Designs MicroBites Utensils:
These MicroBites utensils have made their way from my camping gear to daily usage! I keep a set at work in case I bring utensil-eatin' food. I always keep a couple sets in my pack for camping. They work well!
The design for the two pieces nesting into each other holds well and I've had my first set for a few years now. They still keep together, which was a worry of mine. Unlike some other sets, these are REALLY durable, too! They are seemingly unbreakable and I've used them for cutting tough stuff and also used the spatula/knife for cooking over a PocketRocket and it held on just fine!
This set is fantastic and easy to just throw a couple into your bag and go!

They are so versatile, I usually use these in my dorm instead of regular utensils!

Comments about Guyot Designs MicroBites Utensils:
These are great utensils. I have tried a few different types of camp utensils out and these stand out as my favorite. The only complaint I have for them is that the spork can't function for leafy greens - I use them for my pack lunches as well as backpacking.

I have has these for 3 years, love them.
Finally started weighing my gear and the spork weighs slightly less than a Snow Peak titianium spork. They are great for keeping meals quiet.

Comments about Guyot Designs MicroBites Utensils:
I am a HUGE fan of the Guyot Designs Microbite utensils. Whether I am going out on a day-hike or planning a multi-day camping trip, I always carry at least one set with me.
It's a light utensil set that takes up very little space, it's safe on non-stick pans, like my GSI Bugaboo set and they offer great flexibility and functionality. The spork points don't break and the knife/spat combo are wonderful in that it offers both a serrated edge and a clean cutting blade, too.
Best of all, they are affordable! I recommend these to all my friends who spend time outdoors.

So these are great, but i was eating/cooking ramen and now they kinda have a yellow tint. They didn't have any residual flavor but just the minor color change. Other than that they're fantastic.

Comments about Guyot Designs MicroBites Utensils:
The spork is fine for things like muslie but the fork slots on the spoon prevent it from holding more than a half teaspoon of liquid, so eating soup with it is frustrating at best. The prongs on the spork, which are supposed to replace a fork are dull and thick and will not stick in anything more firm than maybe a pancake. They may look fun and be environmentally correct, but I would rather carry a few more ounces and have a real spoon and fork and avoid the frustration every time I have a meal. Besides, I already have a kitchen drawer full of spoons and forks. If I use those, I am not consuming more unnecessary junk.
