    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used to be a good product I commute 3 mi. per day by walking. My first pair of these lasted 9 months and were ok shoes. The rubber sole wore out first and everything else was pretty good. This is pretty typical given the walking I do. My second pair lasted less than 2 months. The foam under the heel packed out quickly, but worse, the sole started separating from the shoe. This separation grew larger and larger. I exchanged it for another pair which lasted 2 weeks. Exact same problem. I was extremely disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from lacking in quality standards. First pair I bought I had for a year and used them thuroughly. Second pair fell apart in 2 weeks. Working on third pair but one thing is clear, productions tandards are poor. for whatever reason one could previously rely n this brand for performance and quality this has changed and if these fail again I will never purchase this brand again. I think REI should consider another brand to carry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sole Came Off after 3 Weeks When these arrived I was suspicious; the lower quality, compared to similar Keen shoes that I bought just 2 years was obvious. 3 weeks later, when the entire sole came off, after normal walking and gardening, it was really obvious.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so much! I walk/hike more than 70,000 steps a week (~40 miles a week)over paved roads/trails, dirt/gravel roads and trails, and cross-country unimproved trails. Typically I do at least one long hike a week (20,000 plus steps on very rough unimproved trails). I purchased these shoes several weeks ago to replace a set of merrells that I wore out. Unfortunately, after about 5 miles in these shoes, my feet hurt, and the front seam where the tongue meets the shoe starts to chafe my foot just behind my toes. I had hoped that they would break-in, but so far no such luck. While these shoes are fine for hikes of less than 5 miles, they are definately not for long walks/hikes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good I have worn Keens for many years so I was expecting the same great Keen preformance with the Voyaguer. The sole sepperated from the tops in less than 2 weeks of indoor use.I hope these were just a bad pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable hiking shoes Very comfortable, wide toe area, and I don't get any toe-pinching. I've tried several hiking shoes and boots, and this is the only one that I've been able to wear comfortable for fairly long hikes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keen Voyager for Fat Feet I use these shoes for backpacking. Although I trail jog, I have other, lighter shoes for this purpose. I like the support on rough trails that this shoe provides that trail running shoes lack.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from comfortable shoes I had bought a pair of these before and loved them. i just intended to replace the worn out pair, and bought a new pair, the glue must have been defective becuase the soul came off of the shoe, i brought it back and thy replaced them for free without a recept. i have been a member for a very long time since the store in northville michigan first opened, have always loved thier stuff and is usually good quality, i just chalk this one up as a mistake that wasnt normal
