Comments about BOB Revolution / Strides Single Sun Shield:
Very good quality material, feels like it will actually survive a few years. Really keeps the bugs off the kid! Even when the skeeters & no-see-ems are swarming the kid remains bug bite free! It is ok to install. But there HAS to be a better way to design this thing. It would be nice if it didn't make the canopy useless. There is not an easy way to get to your kid without removing most of the screen. It would be great if it had a small velcro pass thru or something. I may take it to a canvas repair shop and have a pass thru slit put it. That way when the leaking sippy cup is upside-down you don't have to risk the swarm of bugs to right it again. I wasn't really looking for a sun screen but I think it would work well. If your kid doesn't like being unable to see when the canopy all the way down and needs sun protection this would be a must buy.

Comments about BOB Revolution / Strides Single Sun Shield:
Late afternoon sun sneaks underneath the canopy on our Bob Revolution stroller. We wanted extra protection to keep the sun off our little one's face. Keeping insects off her was a secondary consideration.
Pro's: Some wind protection. Keeps toys and other stuff from hitting the ground. Keeps bugs out.
Cons: Overpriced. Lousy installation instructions make putting it on the first time a pain. Bad design...no pass-through to get things to the kid, no see-through window at the top, and less protection from the sun since installation requires that you retract the canopy half-way. It may block 65% of the sun, but that didn't seem to keep our kid from having to squeeze her eyes shut as the sun smacked her. Not very useful in bright California sunshine.

Comments about BOB Revolution / Strides Single Sun Shield:
I bought this primarily as a mosquito protectant for our trip to Minnesota, but it's also been great for evening walks in Kansas. The mosquitos are eating me alive despite bug spray and the baby has been free of bites. No problems with putting it on, it's intuitive/didn't have to read the directions. Stores easily in the space underneath.
