Works well for fairly flat country (not many hills here so can't evaluate). My feet turn out, which makes XC touring difficult where diagonal stride rather than skating is needed. The back hinge provides much better control for me, and helps keep my heel on the skis. Snow does build up under the back hinge, but pretreating the binding before going out with Maxiglide helps a lot. Bindings work fine for skating also, and provide extra control in ungroomed conditions (I usually skate on snow over ice on a frozen lagoon).
On the whole, I'm happy with the bindings, and I think they are an improvement over the previous version.
