Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
I bought these because of the weight, they are very lightweight for those who interested in lighting the pack load. They work as effective eating tools. However, i would not use any of these utensils to COOK FOOD or EAT HOT foods they are very heat sensitive. the plastic melted while cooking breakfast scramble eggs.

These do the job - for a while. The fork and spoon are somewhat useful b/c they are light and compact (though they are difficult to clean). I bought this product, however, for the spatula, and it is a disappointment. I have scrambled eggs twice, and it has melted significantly. It will probably only last a few more times.

Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
Got sets of these utensils for our camping trip in Palo Duro Canyon. For the price they're not too bad. They collapse in fit into my camp tove set and are very light. Extended out they are stable and dont feel awkward to eat with.
Cleaning is a pain in the butt if you have unlimited water and almost impossible if water is limited.

Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
These utensils came with my Jetboil Cooking System which also came with the 8 inch frying pan. They work great, the handles slide to be more compact and they fit well on the side of the cup.
I haven't had any issue cleaning them as I don't make a huge mess. I clean my stuff at home again, anyways so, no problem.
To fit them on the side of the Jetboil cup cozy, you just need to alternate the direction of them. Alternating ends up/down/up with the spatula down in the middle position. Just try different positions until you figure it out which way you like them.

Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
I love the spoon from this set. I usually bring dehydrated meals with me when I go backpacking and the spoon makes it very easy to reach all the way to the bottom of the bag without having to stick your hand inside the bag. I've used the for a few times as well and it works ok. It's a little flimsy, but that's the price you pay for light plastic utensils. I haven't used the spatula yet.

Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
I have the jetboil GCS so I bought these because the spatula matches the contour of the pot. They collapse for more compact storage unfortunately they do not lock in competely when extended. Therefore, they keep collapsing when you are trying to use them. Other than that they are nice and lightweight.

Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
Like I said, don't waste your money. The concept of the set is good, but the quality isn't there. All I have left is the spoon. It's the only thing that hasn't melted yet. I fried up some bacon and eggs and the spatula melted flipping my eggs. On an earlier trip, I made up a bag of Mountain House Spaghetti and the fork tines melted when I stirred the water in the meal. Guess I'll be trying the GSI stuff next. I could have enjoyed a 6-pack of quality imported beer with the cash I wasted on this product.

I usually carry just the spoon. I have a Jetboil...check. This has found it's way into my daily lunch use.

Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
I bought these things on accident. I would return them but I just keep forgetting to bring the dang things to the store and, I guess, after I haven't washed dishes in a week I do use them in the kitchen sometimes. However, for backcountry use, they are just plain silly. They're impossible to clean and when you extend them they are awkward and I feel like I look kind of goofy eating my sriracha-chili-coffee ground-oatmeal dinner. They're just dang excessive. It's like using a backscratcher as a fork. Did I mention that with all those nooks and crannies and the totally awesome milligram-saving speed holes, that are all throughout each utensil, they are IMPOSSIBLE to clean.
Frankly, I'm surprised they recieve such positive reviews from people. I guess ultra-minimalist, miligram-saving backpackers go to such great lengths to reduce their pack weight so they can fit a mini-sherpa in there to wash their utensils for them after each meal.
In conclusion, just go to taco bell and swipe some sporks or use your fingers if weight is that much of an issue. I've found my fingers are a joy to clean after a tasty "dirt n' worms" dessert. I haven't figured out a way to lose these and they haven't broken rendering them completely useless yet so I guess I'll give them two stars- no, that's even more of an annoyance so I'll stick with just the one because I like the burnt orange color. Hook 'em 'Horns!

Comments about Jetboil Jetset Utensil Kit:
As the title says, the spatula from this set melted to the Jet Boil Frying Pan the first time we used it. BIG problem. The fork and spoon are good, and stable, and pack up nicely in the Jet Boil canister without scratching it, hence the extra star. But I would MUCH rather have had a fork, a spoon and a longer handled stirring spoon than this bum spatula!
