The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

I've used these for dozens of tire changes on mountainbikes. Flawless.
Lightweight, durable (my dog couldn't break the one she got a hold of... so she would probably review them much lower), and they do the job great.

After reading the other reviews, I've come to the conclusion that people don't know how to use them properly. I commute daily to work and needed something small that I can keep in my backpack. This fits the bill, plus it's nice the way they lock together. I've had this levers probably 5 years now, and not one has broken, and believe me, I've done plenty of tube swaps in all kinds of weather. Love them!

I bought a set of these and two of them broke on the first tire change. The tab ends simply do not hold up. I went to a local bike shop and bought a pair of steel-reinforced tire levers and have been very satisfied since then.

Broke 2/3 of these trying to change a flat on the side of the road in the pouring rain on my way to work. These are the worst levers I have ever used, do not buy them unless you like walking your bike places, or hitchhiking/meeting nice strangers.

I use these levers on the road all the time and never had a problem. I lent them to a friend who returned them with 2 of the spoke hooks broken off. He didn't realize that he shouldn't pry with the hook. I like the way they lock together.

've broken a tire leaver before after two years of use but these take the cake. I broke two of the three leavers in about five minutes flat. These are totally useless for any kind of road bike tire removal.
Item as described and arrived in a timely fashion. The first maul I received had some large gouges in the handle but the company sent me a replacement quickly, you couldn't ask for more.

These may be fine for mountain bike tires or other easy to mount tires, but stay away for these if you plan on using these for road tires. I broke all three within a couple weeks. Fortunately I was at home when the last broke and not stranded out on the road! I will not be making the same mistake twice, I'll spend the extra money for a more durable version.
