    Wish these would have come with directions (although they were easy enough to install). They worked well enough for the price, but ended up falling off my bike after a couple months. The screws were pulled through the plastic. I'm sure they would work ok if all you do is road biking. Very difficult to get your foot into while on the trails, some shoes work better for these than others.

    Easy to install pedal straps. Needed them for my sprint triathlon and they worked very well. Durable and lightweight. The plastic cage isn't that flexible but keeps your feet in place.

        These toe clips are flimsy and one side broke the first use. the other one flexed and the screws came out. needless to say these are getting returned.

        I'm sorry to say that these broke the first time I used them, during a 5 mile ride to the library. The plastic loop ripped at the point through which the strap is threaded.

          REI no longer carries separate straps. When the straps of my Wellgo pedals wore out, I bought this kit, mainly for the straps. The plastic toe clips are fine; they are made of the same plastic as those on my pedals, which have stood up without any problem for over 10 years. The clips are not floppy at all. The straps are sturdy. Clips and straps were easy to install although you need an 8mm wrench to tighten the nuts. For the price, they're great.

          I've used toe clips and straps before and loved them, but to say I was disappointed with the Wellgos is an understatement! The main issue was the plastic was so soft/flexible it did not have enough rigidity for me to insert my foot without bending to the point that I had to reach down and pull the clip over my foot and then tighten the strap. Previous clips I had were stiff enough to get your foot in there so all you had to do was adjust the strap. Also the plastic was so soft the hole where the screw attaches the clip to the pedal stretched, allowing the screw head to push through the hole. These clips never made it off road and only on the road twice for about 20 minutes each ride. They're going back to the store tomorrow!
