The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about TravelChair Easy Rider Chair:
Although the frames are heavier than some aluminum framed chairs, the fabric quality and comfort far exceeds any other folding chair I've previously owned.

Love the chairs! We bought 4, 2 in green and 2 in blue. They're a bit on the heavier side but they're very sturdy and don't slouch when we sit on them. Tested many chairs so we know which ones do. My husband is almost 6 ft. tall so he wanted chairs that were very comfortable and although a bit pricey, they're still well built. I looked all over for chairs and finally decided on this model and it served us well.

Comments about TravelChair Easy Rider Chair:
I'm a regular at the sporting good stores & try everything before i make a purchase. I recently bought this chair & a Larry Chair & am very please with both. This chair is a full-sized camp chair & weighs a little more than others because of its beefy rubber feet & connectors. It feels really solid, well built & i have no issues paying little more for gear thats not junk.Ultimatly it was this chairs style that sold me. It looks unique, has cool colors & it stands apart from my buddies.

I read the long review someone left and agree with all the points they made. This chair is incredibly comfortable. I also sat in every chair at REI, [...] only to come back to these chairs. The 8.5lb weight is more than other chairs, but this chair doesn't have that over vertical back that other chairs have making other chairs not comfortable on the back. After a year with these chairs, I went again and did the sit test to see what was out there again. I am now on the web to get another dose of two to take on a cross country road and camping trip. Finally, I think these are in the many many years of use category. They are heavy because both the frame and the canvas are extremey sturdy.

Comments about TravelChair Easy Rider Chair:
Bought this after suffering through several cheap chairs purchased from a discount store. This time durability was my #1 criterion. I sat on just about every chair at the local REI store and purchased this one because:
- It seems built very solidly, particularly with respect the the fabric (e.g., the thick reinforcements around the tubing, and the padding in the wrist area). Most of my other chairs tend to fail at the tubing joints, but this chair has added protection in those areas, which was a major plus for me.
- Unlike every other chair of this type that I tried, this one doesn't allow my back to sink far down into a deep C shape, which becomes very uncomfortable very quickly. The design of this model keeps my back much, much straighter, allowing me to sit for extended periods. Perhaps for this reason, I also find that my legs are slightly further forward, which makes them feel more comfortably positioned with respect to the forward edge of the seat (I'm 5'-11"). This makes it easier to get into and out of the chair.
- This chair provides straps (pictured) on the back of the arms, which allow the arms to be raised to a comfortable height and prevents the backrest from slipping off the tubes. None of the other chairs I tested had this feature. It makes a significant difference in comfort when the armrests have that extra height. The arms themselves are very comfortable, and none of the stitching anywhere on the chair feels overly rough or chafing as on some cheaper chairs I've tried.
- The tubes of the backrest are designed well apart from each other, so my shoulders never feel like they're digging into the frame.
- I love the overbuilt design of the carrying case (pictured) and its easily adjustable strap. Feels like a military-grade duffel bag.
The specifications included with the chair and available on the manufacturer's website differ from the specifications listed here by REI. Most importantly, as of this writing, REI lists the weight at 11 pounds. This is in fact an 8.5 pound chair. The dimensions are also slightly off.

Nice chair, cheap, lightweight. I wish it had two cupholders instead of one.
