I agree with a previous reviewer that said these are good for running and not walking due to the hard gel foam material. Walking does not generate enough impact and shock to fully appreciate the quality of these insoles.

I bought these (or their cousins) a few years ago and have used them in my hiking shoes since then. I decided to get replacements since the old ones were starting to flatten out. With them in I end my hikes with less foot and knee discomfort (and more smiles). Nothing but positive things to say for them.

I purchased 1 pair to try out. I switched the insoles between the shoes I needed at the time. I use this pair everyday to coach baseball in summer, football in fall and hiking throughout the year with my Scout Troop. So far they have added a good bit of comfort for all of the above activities. For the price they are really good and have out lasted other "so called" sports insoles for two and three times the price. I plan on buying a couple more sets. - FYI - Pull the insoles out of the shoes after each days use to extend their life.

I bought 4 pairs because they are cheap. I put them in my basketball shoes, hiking shoes, sneakers and running shoes. None lasted over 2 weeks, they fell apart, now I can take some photos to prove this but I am not going to do that. Bottom line you get what you are paying for, do not buy these. Very unhappy with this purchase at REI.
