I put them on May 1 and take them off October 1. Great flip-flop, worth every penny.

These are great for everyday wear, but took about 3-4 days of regular wear to break-in. After that short period, I felt they were worth the high price tag. I expect these will last for a long time and get even more comfortable with time. They are already my go-to shoe when it's time to kick off the business shoes, wear them all weekend, and travel with.

I have been wearing these religiously for over a year and despite the paint I got all over them, they still look and feel brand new. I never had any strap chaffing or issues breaking in the leather, and if you have a big arch like myself, these are the only flip flops that won't hurt my feet after wearing them all day. Though expensive, in my opinion, they are well worth it. I won't buy another brand!

Great flip flops - comfortable, stylish, and great arch support (rare in flip flops). Had them for a year now in AZ and they still look and work great.

I bought these last spring and wore them everywhere over the summer. Then, I wore them around the house all winter long. They have proved durable as well as comfortable. They still look good, even though the leather is a little worn now after over a year. I will buy a second pair when this pair thoroughly wears out. Don't be scared by the price, they last!

First off these sandals are great sandals, once they get broken in. All the leather sandals I've had I expect a break in period. But these are a lil longer than others. I've been wearing them pretty regularly for a few weeks and if I wear them too long (a couple of hours straight) they might slightly start to chaffe. I wear a size 12 and these fit exactly to my feet. But w/ sandals I would prefer a tab bit bigger, thats why I said 1/2 size too small. Also, I have really wide feet and the width on these are just fine so they might be too wide on some. But overall these are really good quality (so far), quite comfortable (beside the break in), and look great!! I would say that they are a lil overpriced, but I guess the real test to see if they're overpriced is time. But, I do plan on buying a black pair. I would recommend these if you can afford to spend the money on them.

I thought these flops would be great. They felt great, looked good, and wore well for the first three months. However, at four months the leather on the strap started to come apart and at eight months the center webbing of the strap broke completely. For the price you would think the sandals would be good quality, wrong. Additionally, I even followed the advice, not to wear them to the beach or in the water, seems a little odd for flops, but anyway I bought a different pair for the beach. It didn't matter the leather ones still blew apart. Don't waste your money on these, they look cool but the quality will leave you barefooted.

I like flip-flops for most seasons anyway, but these things only leave my feet on the rarest occasions.

I have had these sandals for about a month and I am quite impressed. I absolutly HATE shoes and am barefoot or flip flopped 98% of the time I am not working (yes that includes camping, trailriding or any of the very limited hiking I do). They have even survived a week four wheeling in Moab taking me up and down slick rocks, sand, mud and water and seem no worse for the wear. Even cleaned up very easily (just showered with them on). Getting in and out or on and off of four wheelers and climbing rocks is how I have pulled the thong right out of many of my older flip flops, but these are still intact, making me very happy.
The only problem with this model is the nylon strap can be uncomfortable during or after heavy activities. I normally prefer a solid leather strap like the Hiapo has, the store I went to just didn't have any, so I didn't know they existed otherwise I would have paid the extra 20 bucks.
