So far I have used these boots daily! They feel awesome when I strip off my work boots (old Merrells) and they are great on the super steep incline behind my house up to my water tank (a weekly trek of about 5 minutes)!

So, I'm a size 11 narrow. Only Merrell's fit. I love 'em! I live in Florida, and we hike alot through water on the Florida National Scenic Trail, so I need a good backpacking shoe that can get wet, is cool in hot humid weather. I had a bad experience with the Siren, and at my last visit to REI I bought the Moab Waterproof Mid, the Siren Cross-trainer and this one. The Waterproof Moab had a little more ankle support than the Ventilators, but the Ventilators were cool in hot weather. I haven't yet gotten them wet, and I'm anxiously awaiting to see if they'll survive and if they'll dry easily. Can we have a good water shoe that has good backpacking support for walking through water?!?

These boots are wonderful and true to size. Comfort with excellent support. Fractured my ankle last year and it gets really stressed on hikes. These along with my trek poles added a great deal of support. Order a pair- you wont be dissapointed ladies!

I loved these boots. Mine were a different color that were a few years older but the same make overall. Lasted me about 6 years and I use my boots pretty regulary between seasonal field work, backpacking trips, and day hikes.
The treads are still holding strong and the overall cost was reasonable for the time I got out of them. The only draw back is these boots are not waterproof even though they claim to be. But they will keep your feet dry better than many boots out there. Salepeople always push a stronger boot to me but I like flexible and lightness - which these boots have. I don't think I ever had a blister in these bad boys, it was like walking on a cloud.
I finally ripped out the seam near the toe on my last trip at Isle Royale. Five days of hiking on rocks and 6 years of use will do that to you. RIP Merrell Moad, you will be missed and hard to replace.

After trying on 21 pairs of shoes and almost losing hope, I tried on this pair and was amazed! They fit perfectly! They have wonderful support with they right amount of flex. You will absolutely love them! Just remember to try them on with hiking socks and get one size up from perfect for those down hill trails!!

I wear these shoes almost every day, and I absolutely love them. Most comfortable shoes ever! I wear these for all day hikes and overnight hikes. I was lucky enough to be wearing these when I had a mishap and broke my big toe on a hike. I had to hike back out the next day, and I could fortunately still get my sore swollen toe into my shoe and not have the shoe cause more pain. They were the only shoes I could comfortably fit my foot into until my toe healed. Of course since they are not waterproof, make sure to wear something different if you are going to be walking/hiking through big puddles or streams. These shoes are also very durable. I think I have had them for about 3 years with heavy wear, and I am just now thinking about buying a new pair and retiring these ones to my "mow the lawn shoes" since they are so great I don't want to part with them until they eventually start falling apart.

I have "foot issues". It is SO difficult to find shoes or boots that work for me. Merrells tend to be almost perfect all of the time. Wearing these is like wearing form-fitted moccasins (with a sturdy sole). My feet feel wonderful while wearing them; my feet and knees do not hurt at all during or after.
