Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
I have tried this once on the inner tube and have cycled about 80 miles with the fixed tube. So far it has held up. I have not noticed any significant decrease in tire pressure over a couple of weeks in storage.

Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
As stated in other reviews, glueless patches are hit or miss. So far my success rate is 25%. I am using them to patch flats in the field on high pressure road tires. The convenience is alluring but in my experience the risk is too great under race or inclement field conditions. Anything's worth a try as a last resort.

Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
I used this on my road bike. This patch kit worked fine at first, but I got a second flat several months later and found the first repair patch was peeling off.

Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
I do a lot of riding(roady) and due to various reasons have had several flats lately. I carry at least one spare tube with me at all times. For unforseen events I have had a few occasions where these patches have gotten me home or to a bike shop to pick up a new tire/tube. These patches are by no means meant to hold up to long rides, meant to hold high psi, or meant to prevent you from spending another 8 dollars for a new tube. IMO I find it a bit silly that people have thought other wise. Really?
If you are running a hi-psi tire with a gouge and want something to keep the tire from pushing through pick up some plastic rim tape. The stick on type that was meant for running tubles. Very handy for saving expensive tires.

Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
I have used been unable to get the scabs product to fix a leak for more than 5 minutes. The glue simply isn't strong enough to hold the patch in place once the tire is re-pumped.
I would score this product a 0 if that was possible. This product is very disappointing.

Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
I've used Skabs three or four times over several hundred miles and have been very satisfied. Unlike patches used with rubber cement, these work instantly, which is great when fixing flat on road (and I've had rubber cement evaporate - not reliable). Possibly slow leaking - have to pump patched affected tire weekly more than unpatched tire - but not sure if Skab is the cause.

Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
I chose this because of the compact size of the case and it did not need the tube of rubber cement.
Boy am I sorry that I ever used them. Everone of these I used deveoped a leak within a week. Then I had remove the patch, clean the adhesive from the tube and apply a good patch in its place. Worthless!
Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
These plastic patches lose their grip when the tube gets re-pumped, thus start leaking air. I always patch tubes and none of the plastic patches have held. Don't buy this product except as a one-time, emergency patch.

Comments about Slime Skabs Pre-Glued Patch Kit:
Patch only holds for a matter of hours under high pressure. May be good for mountain bikes or kids bikes, but will not grip at 100-120 psi.

I used these on a tube gash and so far has lasted several months of riding.
Worth a try I think!
